Har Har har, but seriously… I was looking forward to seeing Ok Go tonight ‘cuz I’ve listened to their CD a lot and I like it… but I wasn’t feelin’ ’em at all tonight. How can a band have more energy on their cd than live? Isn’t it normally the opposite? You don’t have to be jumping around or gettin’ in people’s faces necessarily to be an interesting act. But it just felt like it lacked passion/emotion … err something. Luckily, Army of Me was really good and the tail end of Spiraling that I saw seemed cool. I didn’t even bother to stay and watch the whole Ok Go set. I trrrried but I just couldn’t. |
