A few months ago I went to the Recher Theatre. There was this guy who went up in front toward the end of the night. He looked really familiar. I couldn’t figure out where I knew him from. It kind of bothered me. I felt like I maybe knew this guy from before, but I didn’t know how. He gave a big hello to my friend, but he said he didn’t know who that was.
I watched “Heavy Metal Parking Lot” for the first time in a while tonight. And I think that is where that guy is from.
I think the guy in the beginning with the black hair and the DC 101 shirt is him. I’m not positive. But he was even rocking out to the band at that show in a similar fashion.
For some reason, I didn’t know this was taken locally. It explains a lot about Baltimore haha.
My goodness, did everyone in Baltimore have the Dundalk or Hampden accent back then? I didn’t live in Maryland in the 80s and I don’t know if the directors just chose the people with the strongest accents. But wow. Almost every dude in the video is really skinny, too.
I think the people who regularly hung out at the Thunderdome and the House of Rock were all at this concert. 😉
